Podgorica is the capital and largest city of Montenegro, located in the central part of the country near the confluence of the Ribnica and Morača rivers. It’s a relaxed, practical hub with a mix of modern neighborhoods and remnants of its Ottoman and Yugoslav past, plus easy access to nearby mountains, Lake Skadar, and the Adriatic coast.
